NSF Certification<\/p><\/div>\n

NSF is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to product and ingredient safety. They provide peace of mind to both consumers and industry through their various product certification and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) programs.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe NSF \u2018seal of approval\u2019 demonstrates to the public what we already know: that our Juice Plus+ products meet the highest industry standards,\u201d<\/i>\u00a0explains John Blair, Vice President of Product and Research for Juice Plus+.<\/p>\n

In this case, that means the very stringent requirements of NSF\u2019s dietary supplements and functional foods certification program. This program independently verifies that what is on the label is in the bottle, and that the product does not contain undeclared ingredients or contaminants.<\/p>\n

Separately we are pleased to announce that\u00a0select batches<\/i>\u00a0of\u00a0Juice Plus+ Orchard and Garden Blend capsules\u00a0<\/i>and\u00a0Juice Plus+ Vineyard Blend capsules<\/i>\u00a0have received an\u00a0additional<\/i>\u00a0certification from NSF\u2019sCertified for Sport\u2122\u00a0<\/b>athletic banned substances program. These\u00a0select<\/i>\u00a0batches of Juice Plus+ Orchard, Garden and Vineyard Blend will display\u00a0both<\/i>\u00a0the basic\u00a0NSF product certification<\/b>\u00a0seal\u00a0and<\/i>the\u00a0NSF Certified for Sport\u2122<\/b>\u00a0seal on their labels.<\/p>\n

NSF\u2019s Certified for Sport\u2122<\/b>\u00a0program involves additional screening that ensures that each specific batch of product that is \u201ccertified for sport\u201d does not contain any substances that have been banned or prohibited by major U.S. and Canadian sports organizations. Major League Baseball (MLB), the MLB Player\u2019s Association, the National Football League (NFL), the NFL Player\u2019s Association, the Professional Golfers Association of America (PGA), the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA), and the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) have all chosen NSF\u2019s Certified for Sport\u2122 program to help verify that the products their athletes use are safe and free of banned substances.<\/p>\n

\u201cBoth the \u2018regular\u2019 NSF-certified product and the \u2018special\u2019 Certified for Sport\u2122 product are identical in every way,\u201d<\/i>\u00a0Blair emphasizes.\u00a0\u201cThe Certified for Sport\u2122 product is simply put through an even more stringent, batch-specific testing and screening process.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n

Due to the additional testing required for the Certified for Sport\u2122 designation, there is an additional $5.00 surcharge for each carton of Juice Plus+ Orchard and Garden Blend product that has been Certified for Sport\u2122\u00a0and a $3.00 surcharge for each carton of Juice Plus+ Vineyard Blend Certified for Sport\u2122\u00a0product.<\/p>\n
